2. Data processing for contact and customer communication 

2.1 User account

If you have given your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR by deciding to open a user account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening a user account. Deleting your user account is possible at any time and can either by sending a message to the contact option described in this data protection declaration or via a function provided for this purpose in the user account. After deletion of your user account, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and beyond which we inform you in this statement. 

2.2 Contacting us

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us when you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because in these cases we absolutely need the data to process your contact and you cannot send the contact without providing it. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process your inquiries in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b GDPR. 

After your customer request has been completely processed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods in accordance with Art 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. 

3. Advertising via email

3.1 Email newsletter with registration, newsletter tracking with separate consent 

If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data required for this or provided separately by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a GDPR. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can do so either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address from the recipient list unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

If you have also given us your consent to analyze our newsletter in accordance with Art future newsletter campaigns (“newsletter tracking”). 

For this evaluation, the emails sent contain single-pixel technologies (e.g. so-called web beacons, tracking pixels) that are stored on our website. For the evaluations, we particularly link the following “newsletter data”

4.1 General information

The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a server at Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and stored there. If you visit our website from the EU, your IP address will be stored on a server located in the EU to derive location data and will then be deleted immediately before the traffic is forwarded to other Google servers for processing. The data processing takes place on the basis of an agreement on order processing by Google.

6. Social media

6.1 Social Plugins from Instagram (by Meta)

Social buttons from social networks are used on our website. These are only integrated into the page as HTML links, so that no connection is established with the servers of the respective provider when our website is accessed. If you click on one of the buttons, the website of the respective social network opens in a new window in your browser. There you can, for example, press the Like or Share button.

6.2 Our online presence on Facebook (by Meta), Instagram (by Meta), YouTube

    • is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;

    • the processing is unlawful but you object to its deletion;

    • we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or

    • you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;

  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another person responsible;

  • in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or work or at our company headquarters.

Right to object

To the extent that we process personal data as explained above to protect our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, you can object to this processing with effect for the future. If the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you can exercise this right at any time as described above. If processing is carried out for other purposes, you only have the right to object if there are reasons that arise from your particular situation.

After exercising your right to object, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of serves legal claims.

This does not apply if the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes. We will then no longer process your personal data for this purpose.
